Douglas E. Neal

Douglas Neal joined the board in June 2026.

Mr. Neal brings more than 30 years of experience across investment banking, real estate, and financial services, with a track record of advising and supporting companies through growth, capital formation, and strategic transformation. Mr. Neal currently manages real estate investments and advises early-stage property technology companies.

Previously, Mr. Neal spent over 20 years in investment banking, including as a Senior Managing Director at BofA Merrill Lynch, where he was a founding member of the firm’s Real Estate Banking Group. During his tenure, he advised on more than $50 billion of mergers and acquisitions, public offerings, and capital raising transactions, partnering with management teams to scale their businesses and access the capital markets.

Mr. Neal brings significant public company board, relevant industry and governance experience, including prior service as a public company board chair, as well as experience as an independent director across real estate and investment-focused organizations. In addition, he currently serves as an independent board member of Burroughs & Chapin Company, Inc. and as Chairperson of The Boost Pad, a nonprofit focused on expanding access to entrepreneurship.

He received a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Cornell University and an M.B.A. in Finance from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
